Equipment
Hi Alois and Jeff,
I once had an RITC 729 rubber on my backhand which was black rubber on a premade racket. I've learned that there are sandwich rubbers with various types of sponges. The most common are the white and orange. But on that certain rubber, I had a hard time removing it from its blade, causing the sponge to stay and damage it completely.
The rubber contained blue sponge.
I don't know anything much about that kind of sponge, but I know it was an outstanding combination to the RITC topsheet. I've heard some people complaining it is hard to remove from the topsheet actually. I have also learned that it is quite the most magnificent sponge, especially that it was used in the DHS Skyline TG 3 (National Version blue sponge).
Can you give me an orientation about blue sponge? Thanks!
Hi Cloud,
Yes I also liked the Blue sponge at the time. It is one of the better harder sponges that they made.
There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
