Hello,

I've just got a new job and we have the opportunity to play table tennis for an hour. Most of the guys are mid class and I like to play too. I've found your first few video very helpful. I like to know what 's is the best plan for first few weeks to start as a beginner.

Thanks,

Ellie

Hi Ellie,

I think the best thing when you are starting is to work your way through the Strokes & Technique section of the site.  By going through these you will gve yourself a good grounding of strokes to base your game.

After a month or so you may want to move onto our Training Plan.  This outlines a 52 week training plan that will take you through how to train and advance your game.  This is available as part of our Premium membership.

If you have any queries as you go along with your training, let me know.

#42 - Study Your Opponent

This is the second training plan focusing on match strategy. Last week we looked at your strengths and building a game around that. This week you should examine one of your competitors and pick out their weaknesses. Then you can design some training drills to expose those weaknesses. By doing this you'll be able to exploit them in a match situation and win points more easily.
