Hi Ambrosius,

I haven't used any of these rubbers. I'll open this up to our readers for their thoughts.

We recommend going with Mark V as we know it is a good rubber but there are plenty of good choices available our there.

Choosing a Table Tennis Bat

Make sure you buy a table tennis bat that is suitable for your level and allows you to develop your technique. For your first bat we recommend the PingSkills Rook, and when you upgrade to a custom bat we recommend the PingSkills Touch with Mark V or Rakza 7.

The Calibra LT Plus is much, much quicker than the other two rubbers. If you're just starting out I'd recommend avoiding that - I think it will be too quick.
