Equipment
Alois I just got a new racket that has Tenergy 05 and Bluefire would that be good for me if I just joined the school team?
Hi Naman,
It sounds like it might be too fast for you. Give it a try and see how it feels. If it does feel too fast, put it away for a year and get a bat with more control first. In a year give it another try and see how it feels.
Make sure you buy a table tennis bat that is suitable for your level and allows you to develop your technique. For your first bat we recommend the PingSkills Rook, and when you upgrade to a custom bat we recommend the PingSkills Touch with Mark V or Rakza 7.

Hi!
For a beginner, I've heard that it's best using a blade with high control, and rubbers with high levels of hardness since that's the best setup for stroke development. Tenergy rubbers are better for more experienced players who have a powerful stroke. Having too fast equipment will drop consistency.
