Rules
Hi Alois,
Who will get point if the ball hits my racket directly without bouncing on my side of the table. There could be two possibilities.
1. I play it over the table before ball bounces on the table.
2. I am away from the table, the ball miss the table and directly hits my racket intentionally or unintentionally.
Please clarify.
Hi Joyotosh,
If the ball is over the table it is your opponent's point.
If the ball has already passed over the table then it is your point.
In this video we go over the somewhat complicated rules of serving for doubles in table tennis. There are a couple of extra rules for doubles that you don't apply to singles. In doubles you always serve from the right hand box diagonally to your opponent's right hand box. Each player has 2 serves each. If you've just been receiving then it's your turn to serve next.
