Hi PingSkills, There's a Veteran in My club that use the Penhold Grip The problem is that I never win with him as he's good on forehand and backhand ! Even he never make a topspin, but he always smash me even with his backhand now i get confused what should i do as his weakness is difficult to known as penhold has no cross over point and he play good with both forehand and backhand and also dirty short pimple on the reverse backhand that always he use to chop my topspin what should i do now ? please help me thank you very much
Hi Frendy,
Playing against a penholder can be trick because you don't do it as often. One thing that can work is playing slow topspin to the forehand side as it is harder to get over the ball with a forehand block.
Change the pace of your shots as it sounds like he outplaces you.
