table tennis bat problem...

Hi, i have recently bought a table tennis bat. Both rubbers on both sides are identical...but there is a problem with the black side, the black side seems to have a LOT less fricion. i've tried cleaning it, but it doesn't help, please help me.

Hi David,

It sounds like the Black side may be losing its grip.  If cleaning it doesn't help then it is probably a fault of the rubber.  Was it a new bat?  What type of bat is it?
