Hi Tam,

No I don't, but our other readers might.  I don't know that they are particularly helpful for your real game.

Hello all Pingskills members,

I see this question has been asked before back in 2009. So now that it is 2015 there has to be some of you that have found a TT app worth playing. I just went to the Google Play Store and found a bunch of them. Any suggestions on which one is the best, or which one do you play and why???

I know it is not like playing the real thing. But just looking for a good TT app to kill time.

Thanks

Pingskills members,

I would also like to mention that the Google Play Store has some really nice score keeping Apps. That might be helpful for you and your game play. Not only do they keep score for you but they also provide statics for you when you are done with a game. Some of them have voice announcing that tell you the current score and who has the next serve.

I will be reviewing all of them and when I find the one I like the best. I will download it and let you guys know what I think of it. In the mean while don't hesitate waiting on me and my review's. Go check it out for yourself and see if you can find a scoring App that might work really well for you. Then let us know what you think about it.

Thanks

Hello Pingskills members,

For those of you that might be interested in downloading a TT App. I found one that is very fun to play. The one I am playing is called: Virtual Table Tennis 3D made by Clapfoot, inc.

Check it out!!!

I would highly recommend TABLE TENNIS STROKES app (can find at tabletennisstrokes.com), for those looking to improve the technique. The most important forehand and backhand shots (9 fh, 9 bh) are covered, as well as 6 most used serves and their receives. Detailed explanation on the body parts  - the wrist, elbow, fingers, forearm, shoulder, foot etc. as pop-ups on the interactive images for each phase of the stroke - preparation, hit and finish. Also there is a slow motion video for all strokes, with control on every frame of the video.

The best table tennis app I have seen is the "TT Edge Brain Training." It actually helps you determine spins on various serves and strokes.  It is not just a game it is an actual table tennis training process.  If you download it pay the extra and get the premium version.  It is well worth it.

Are they competitors of yours?  Both out of Australia.  I subscribe to you site and theirs.  Both our very helpful.  I especially like your daily "Ask the Coach" segment.

Keep up the good work.

I took the previous commenter's advice and just purchased the "Table Tennis Strokes App."  It is excellent and I highly recommend it.  Since I teach and coach table tennis it will be an excellent tool for students.  They can see the frame by frame action which I think is very important.

I also use the "Coaches Eye" app.  It is an excellent teaching/coaching tool.  It requires a yearly fee, but is well worth it.
