Dear Alois, thanks for your advice on when to change rubbers. I'm looking into it and I was curious as to  if I should just by new sheets of my current type of rubber or if I should get a new rubber. I am thinking of switching from Tackifire Drive on both sides to Tenergy 64 FX on my forehand and Sriver FX on my backhand. Would the sudden change in rubbers throw my game off?

Hi Dhruv,

It may take a little while to get used to the new rubbers but not more than 2 weeks.  Only change if you think you need to change.  If you are happy with the rubbers you are using now then there is no need to change.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
