Alois and Jeff,

my wife is left handed, another focus is doubles.  She is having trouble with a backhand serve to start the point.  Is it legal for her to serve with the right hand, and then switch to her left hand for play?  It would help.  He body structure means the toss is obstructed.  Help please

thank you!

Hi RJ,

You are allowed to switch hands.  If she is left handed she could try the Pendulum serve for doubles.  She will be in the right position to play it.
