My Question is ~

Sometimes i play forehand instead of backhand and confuse and i lose.

How to make the right decision and on time.

Sometimes i play the ball so early that it goes on the net or sometime out of the table.

Hi Udbhav,

To practice making a decision between forehand and backhand firstly practice some switching drills.  You can do the basic forehand, backhand drill.  You can also sdo other switching drills that you will find in our free download of drills.  A couple fo good ones to practice are the PingSkills drill and the Triple switch drill.  Take a look at Training Drills.

Then do some drills where you don't know where the ball is going.  Get your training partner to concentrate a lot of balls in the middle area where you will need to decide between forehand and backhand.

If you are hitting the ball too early, then start to listen to the sound of the ball.  It should be in a rhythm.  If you hit the ball too early you will hear the rhythm start to go out of time.
