Serving

Hey Alois,

I'm 13 years of age and have been playing for my school team. My main serves are the tomahawk and the heavy backspin backhand serves. I have been meaning and failing to do the pendulum serves due to sweaty hands, my bat shifts as I do the serve and I can't get the required wrist movement to get heavy backspin if I wrap my else fingers around the handle. What do I do?

Hi Mustavi,

It is great that you are trying different serves.

If you feel like you are not getting enough grip with the modified Pendulum grip, try just using your middle finger to stabilise the bat as well by putting it on the side of the handle.

The other thing to do  is to dry your hand each time before you serve.
