Hi Alex,
This is Manish, you know what whenever I try Forehand or backhand chop stroke the ball goes back quiet high on the table giving opponent a chance to smash. I have lost quiet a few matches because of that, for sure something is horribly wrong with my technique.

Hi Manish,
To keep the ball lower, try to brush under the ball more. If you hit it flat it will tend to go higher. By brushing the bottom of the ball you will find you will generate more spin and also be able to keep the ball lower.

ok got it, I was keeping my racquet flat while pushing. Thank Alois and sorry I spelled your name as Alex earlier.
