Strokes Reverting During a Match

i have my wrong strokes for many years of playing table tennis but now that i saw your videos i am correcting it and can do it in drills. my problem is when i apply it in games my old strokes comes back again. what must i do to get rid of my old strokes which automatically comes back when i play the game?

Hi Jorsel,

This is a common occurrence. You need to persevere with your strokes. Keep practicing them and in some matches you need to not worry about the result and make sure you focus on using your new technique.

As you become more comfortable with the strokes you will start to trust them more in a match. It will take time and effort but you will be able to do it.
