Dear Alois,

just looking at the vault and reading the ASK The Coach questions and comments. my problem during match play is knowing when to use a drive or a topspin loop, one good thing i am capable of doing is using all of the serves i've learnt looking at the serving secrets revealed, it is a problem for me because i am a looper and sometimes loop a ball with no spin, and may i guess i should drive balls more off my serves especially playing Anti-spin or long pips players,

please help us out Derrick.

Hi Derrick,

The drive and topspin are not very different strokes.  When you want generate more speed you can flatten out the contact a little.

If they give you a soft or high return off your serve, then use more speed to try and hit a stronger shot.

If you get the opportunity off anti-spin or long pips to hit the ball hard then you should hit the ball faster.  You can create this by giving them a backspin ball first.

Glad you have found the Serving Secrets DVD useful.
