Is it legal to strap or attach the bat to your hand/fingers in any way?  If so, would it ever be advantageous?

Hi Ben,

You can strap the bat to you.  I don't think it would be advantageous though.  It would tend to restrict your movement especially with your wrist which is most vital.

If you are having a hard time getting a grip on the racket, you can some grip tape on the handle to absorb sweat and oil, etc.

Strapping the racket to your hand wouldn't really give you anything.

Thanks for the feedback, I've stuck a piece of bike inner tube on the handle which seems to be helping. For me it's finding a balance between control and really loosening the wrist up for the topspin, especially on the backhand where I have a tendency to block.
