Equipment
Hi PingSkills
I want to ask what is Stiff Blade and Flexible Blade?
What is the advantage & disadvantage of each of them and how to know that it's a stiff blade or flexible blade?
Last, what rubber should i use to combine with each of the blade? (Hard or soft sponge, etc)
Please help me
thank you very much
Hi Frendy,
The harder woods are usually stiffer blades and the softer woods are more flexible. I think the softer blade gives you a bit more feel for the ball as the ball sinks into the wood more.
It is a matter of preference as to the combination that you use.

so how to know if the wood is hard or soft? or we can only know it from the factory description?
The manufacturer or others that review equipment may be able to help. You can also knock on the wood and with experience you will be able to tell the hardness by the sound of the knock. The higher pitched the sound, the harder the wood.
