If we are to learn a high toss serve is it essential that we learn to serve without tossing the ball high in the first place?

Hi Sachintha,
Yes I think you first need to learn well without the high toss to get a feel for the contact of the ball. Then you can try to toss the ball higher and coordinate to action.
