Coach,

I have been working on using my hip more to get a better fh but my lower back on the right side keeps getting sore.  Do you know what might be the remedy to this. Maybe I am too tense?  I really see an improvement with by fh using the hip, it is faster, lower and has more spin.

cheers

Andrew

Hi Andrew,

Glad that the stroke is helping but not so glad about the back issues.

I am no expert here with the physical side of things.  Relaxing might help but it may be worth seeing a professional that will be able to either strengthen your back or help you with dealing with this soreness.
