hey Alois and Jeff

it's Dib again important question I've got here.

I started learning to play with hard rubber then after a couple years a switched to soft rubber and it feels different in terms of consistency mainly my backhand

I've even thought about getting short pips on my backhand after watching Trent Carter playing with them. What should I try out if my backhand is too weak?

Hi Dib,

If you feel more comfortable with the harder rubber then go back to it.  Short pimples can be suitable to some players with a flatter stroke on the backhand.  Give it a try, it is the only way to really find out.

Choosing a Table Tennis Bat

Make sure you buy a table tennis bat that is suitable for your level and allows you to develop your technique. For your first bat we recommend the PingSkills Rook, and when you upgrade to a custom bat we recommend the PingSkills Touch with Mark V or Rakza 7.
