Hi coach!

I was suggested to change to a slower blade.  Because my backhand topspin is not improving with off+ blade. Most of my backhand strokes are blocks. I think I like off+ blades because with them my blocks are better, faster, more consistent.  In the past I have played with several all+ and off- blades. But with them most of my  blocks went into the net. Is  there any all+ or off- blade which is good for blocks?

I think the fact that I play with too many blocks prevents improving my backhand topspin? Am I wrong?

Hi Ardak,

I don't have any specific suggestions except I know I like blocking with the  PingSkills Touch blade which is rated around that speed.

I think you can start to focus on playing more topspin on the backhand.  This may be a mindset but also learning the technique and then being able to make the decisions to be able to integrate the shot into your game.
