I have been playing table tennis for over a year and i like to play aggressively . so if my opponent is pushing or defending i try to start my offense with a slow loop. the problem is i often end up hitting the ball out .how do i loop against the pusher especially one who uses little or no backspin without hitting the ball out ?is it better to use my backhand loop for near and over the table loops?

Hi Abhiram,

The important stroke here is the Forehand Topspin Off Backspin.  By using this stroke you will be able to lift all types of backspin balls.  If there is less backspin you can sweing more horizontally.  The important thing is to still put topspin on your shot.
