Could not find a video on how to perform a FH and/or BH slice shot close to the table and when to use a slice shot during a match.

Hi Duane,

The slice is also called the Push.  Take a look at the Backhand Push and Forehand Push but also the Forehand Chop and Backhand Chop which is the slice stroke from further away from the table.
