Hi Alois and Jeff,

How can we make the ball skid and go around the net? and if that happens and the ball didn't bounce can I still return it??

Hi Jerome,

You need to get a really wide ball to start with from your opponent.  Then you need to let it drop till it is about table height and hit it along that level.  It certainly isn't an easy shot.  But you can see Panda doing it in this video. Panda Seeks Ping Pong Glory - Invade London.  He doesn't quite get it to skid but it is pretty good.

You can still return the ball again but it is really difficult.
