Sidespin serve with double bounce

Hi coach,
I have seen so many people do a side spin topspin or back spin that goes second bounce. But when i try it, it always seems i only could do the sidespin back spin on not the top spin one. Why?

Hi Mat,
The short topspin serve is harder because the ball is bouncing forward.
You need to really focus on the ball staying low over the net. If you can get a bit of topspin on the ball the ball will also skid forward.
