Hi guys, I just wanted to know a bit more about the side spin forehand topspin. In particular, I would like to know about the wrist position throughout the stroke. Basically when you drop the wrist at the beginning of the stroke is this downward position held throughout the stroke or does the wrist whip through on the strIke so that the finish is the same as the topspin forehand? Hope this makes sense.

Cheers

Bevan

Hi Bevan,

The wrist stays down throughout the stroke and finishes in much the same position as it starts.  The wrist can move sideways slightly but not very much due to its position.
