Should I clean my table tennis balls

I got a new set of 36 table tennis balls. However, they are quite dusty and always leaves marks on my bat or paddle. Over time, the paddle could not spin due to the dust without a wash with the butterfly soap. So my question is: Should I wash my table tennis balls? If so, how?

Hi Andy,
The dust tends to wear off quite quickly but if you want you can just put them all in a bucket of water and then wipe them and the dust will come off.
