im sorry. i play short pips on backhand and i would like to ask if i need to flick my bat while performing a backhand shot or do i just push the ball over? also, do i need to keep my bat surface more slanted(closed)?
Hi,
You can use the short pips to play backhands. You just need to open the bat a little more when hitting attacking strokes.
You can perform quite strong flicks or attacks. You won't generate as much topspin on the ball but you will generate good speed.
The thickness of a table tennis table is the most important aspect of a table to ensure you get a true consistent bounce. Other things to consider are the net, portability, and storage space.
