Coach,

I have bought a racket and when i hit it the backhand side has been shiny for over two months now. Shouldn't the black side have little circles on it. The racket is not clean shiny but not normal shiny. Please help me.

Thank You

Hi William,

Some rubbers are shiny.  Is the surface grippy if you rub your finger over it.

Also check that is doesn't have a thin layer of plastic over it that you can peel off.

Yes, the rubber is grippy. I have already tore off the plastic. Thank you for your help.

As long as it still has grip then it is good.
