Serving with the long pips side

Any thought about serving with the long pips side of the racket?  Any advice, tips or techniques would be appreciated.

Hi Phillip,

If you serve with the long pimples you will not be able to generate much spin.  It is good as a variation if you can keep the ball low and they can't attack it.  YOu may get a high push return that you can attack.  But do not use it too often.
