Serving
hye sir,
I am a satisfactory player,bt I know only two serves. That are-Pendulum sidespin and reverse pendulum sidespin. So can u please tell me wat should be the racket angle on hitting the top-side spin and back-side spin pendulum serve.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Nirakar,
To alter the spin on these serves all you need to do i hit the ball a little earlier (backspin) in the swing or later (Topspin).
For the backspin the bat is on the way down and will generate backspin. For the topspin the bat is on the way up so will generate topspin.
This is the same for the Reverse pendulum as well.
You can also flatten out the bat a little to get under the ball for the backspin serve.
