Serving
Hi
How to decrease height of ball in serve?!
thank you so much
Hi,
It may sound simple but aim low. Try to get the ball to just skim over the net. You can also use a string across like we show you in our lesson on Keeping The Ball Low.
Technically, think about contacting the ball when it is lower. If you hit the ball when it is high it will also bounce high.
Serving in table tennis is about much more than just getting the ball into play; it's about setting the pace, controlling the game, and exploiting your opponent's weaknesses from the very first touch. In This Video, You'll Discover:

To begin with you can toss the ball a bit lower to keep the the point of contact lower. Also you can start out with the backspin serve and you will find it is easier to keep the ball low.

thank you Alois Rosario and aahel Guha
what's the effect of point hitting of bat and point of table in height of ball?also point of ball
The backspin will keep it lower so that is hitting the ball underneath. You can hit the ball quite close to you on your side to start with and hit the ball from low. The place on the bat doesn't matter too much to begin with. You can get too caught up with technicalities, that is why my first comment was just aim lower.
