I really want to improve my doubles game. I serve really well in Singles but when restricted in Doubles my serve seems to become ineffective.

Please assist.

Hi Ertan,

To serve well in doubles you need to be a bit more accurate.  You are also serving from a different position and to a smaller area.

Firstly you need to practice serving from that angle.  Then you really need to work on the accuracy of the serve.  In doubles you need to serve the ball short because your opponent only has half the court to cover.  This can be difficult if you are not practicing it during training.  So, use some of your training time to practice this skills.  You will find it will improve.
