I am very poor in flick shots as a receive in various serves.please tell me how to improve in flick receiving.please help me out?

Hi Sougata,

Take a look at the lesson on the flick.  You need to have a relaxed wrist to be able to flick properly.  Look fo rthe right serve to flick, so the no spin or sidespin topspin serves.  Make sure you are hitting the ball at the top of the bounce because this will be a lot easier than when it is a little lower.

Strawberry Flick

The strawberry flick is the opposite of the banana flick and involves utilising the wrist to get the ball spinning with topspin and sidespin. Used in conjunction with the banana flick it can be very deceptive. The banana flick is a more reliable stroke and that's why you see more top players using it over the strawberry flick.
