I saw ur video on Placement of the Serve,and i was wondering, if you could show me how to confuse people on long fast serves, i usually go for fake actions, u think that ok???

Hi Sally,

The best you can do here is to try and deceive your opponent. You can do this with some fake movements as you suggest. By turning your body or your arm more than usual you can fake serving the ball one way and then serve it the other. This helps to some extent but once a good player focuses in on the ball it is hard to deceive them with your direction.

The best way to deceive your opponent is with subtle changes in spin. Try serving 2 serves with very similar actions but making one have a lot of spin and the second having a little less spin. It is amazing how much harder this makes returning serves.
