Hello, I'm trying to develop a serve that just nicks the table, is this legal ?

Hi George,
It is legal but very difficult to master. You are better off spending the time trying to develop your spin and placement.

Varying the spin on your serve makes it harder to return. You can vary the type of spin but possibly even more effective is varying the amount of spin.
