Strokes
Hello,
i have three questions each with different topic.
First which serve would u recommend which is advanced or any player who do u think has perfect serve.
Second question is how to make my backhand sidespin flick and backhand smash good.
Third which style is good in ur thought is good offensive or defensive.
i am sure u r not frustated of my quesions.may god bless u.
Hi Nabeel,
There is no perfect serve. I think the Pendulum serve is an easy one to learn to do and can be very effective as well.
To learn more about the backhand sidespin flick take a look at our lesson on this. Backhand Sidespin Flick. It will show you how to do the return well. The Backhand smash is not something that we recommend because if the ball is high enough to smash then it is high enough to step around and make a forehand smash. It may be something we do a lesson on later.
I think the offensive style is better overall because it is difficult to succeed at the higher level as a defender.
Question actions
The banana flick has become one of the most important returns in table tennis. It allows you to attack almost any short ball and places your opponent under immediate pressure. Still it is a difficult stroke that takes a lot of practice to master.
