Hi

I am able to do pendulum and reverse pendulum serves with great spin. but the problem is that I am not able to place it on the table properly. my serve either is stopped by the net or go out of the table due to extra spin, or if i get the placement right then there is very little spin or no spin. Sometimes I can do a perfect serve but if i get 1 perfect then the rest go into the net or outside.

Can u please tell me where should I place the ball on table for pendulum and reverse pendulum serve on the table with a picture of the table ??

thanks,

Mihir

Hi Mihir,

Try hitting the ball into the table closer to you.

Then you just need to do a lot more serves in training.  The consistency of the serve will not come easily.  It will take a lot of time and many hours of practice.  When you first start to get it right, it will still take many months or years to get it to the stage of being able to rely on it in an important situation.
