Is there a way to do this serve using the penhold grip?

Hi Bennett,
You certainly can. Follow the same principles. The only difference is in the angle your racket will be in due to the penhold grip. You just need to hand slightly. Let me know how it works.

Varying the speed is different from varying the length. You can have a fast short serve and a slow short serve. You can also have a fast long serve and a slow long serve.
