Rubber thickness for flick

I play with1.9 mm tibhar el-s rubber both sides. Will 2.1 mm rubber help me flick return short serves better than 1.9?

Hi Duane,
It will give you more spin and speed. It could help with the flik if that is what you are lacking. It will also mean less control so if you are finding it difficult to controcl the ball on the flick then stay with the 1.9mm.
