Hi ALois and Jeff

what is the effect of thickness and density on spin ,speed and control . how the above 2 features affect diffrent kinds of strokes ?

What do you recommend for all round 62 age player . most of my game is pushing and spins

Hi Mohsen,

The thicker the rubber the more spin ad speed it will have and the less control.

I woud recommend a 1.5 to 2mm rubber at the most for you.  That will give you plenty of spin and enough control to push the ball.  Make sure you select a rubber with good control and not too fast.  We would recommend the Mark V or perhaps Yasaka Pryde.

The FX is a bit softer.  It depends if you like the feel of it.  I don't think it does anything to improve the rubber.  You are probably better off with the normal Tenergy.
