Hi Kedar,

I don't have any recommendations for these.  There are too many out there to choose from.

What are you using at the moment and which of these do you want to use?

The best way to identify them is to touch the surface and rub the pimples.  If they bend a lot then they are likely to be Long.  If they are quite stiff then they are short.  Try to get a look at as many pimples as you can and see if you can start to feel the difference.  It is quite OK to ask your opponent to look at their racket and see what type of rubber they are using.

Kedar,I have read general rule to distinguish them is this:

Longpips pimples are taller than wider. The individual pip has a positive ratio height:width. For example, 1.5mm tall and 0.5mm wide.
Shortpips pimples are wider than taller. The individual pip has a negative ratio height:width. For example, 0.5mm tall and 1.5mm wide.
Medium pimples are as tall as wide. The individual pip has height = width. For example, 1mm tall and 1mm wide.

Regarding list, there are literally hundreds of rubbers on the market.
I can give you a few examples:

Shortpips:
Yasaka RakzaPO
TSP Spinpips ,or nowadays under name Victas Spinpips (there are several types)
Butterfly Challenger
Tibhar Speedy Soft D.Tecs ( Dont get confused by the name)

Medium Pips:
HallMark Panther

LongPips:
Butterfly Feint Long (several types)
TSp Curl/Victas Curl (several types)
Joola Octopus

For complete known list, see an user review database https://revspin.net/pips/.
This site contains probably the largest table tennis equipment list in the English speaking part of the internet,so I am sending the part specificalyl focused on all types of pips.
Here you can find probably the longest list of rubber names on the English speaking internet.
