 Hi Pingskills  ;-)

I would like to know the routine you have to follow in the day of the tournament

How I should prepare the match if it starts early in the morning. What if the match takes place in the afternoon, or in the evening.

What should the player do: Wake up early?, do some exercise?...)

In the end: How long the player should be awake and working before the match.

Thanks in advance

Hi Jesus,

I think a player needs to be awake about 3 hours before a match.  It is important that if it is an early morning match that you have sweated and really had the heart rate up high before you start.  A jog or really good practice session is ideal.  I would say you need to hit for a minimum of 30 minutes and in that time, do some footwork, and also get to playing some points.

If the match is in the afternoon or evening I like to have had a hit in the morning and then rested.  You will find your touch will be a lot better in the evening if you have already had a hit.  It doesn't have to be long but even a 20 minute to 40 minute session will do you good.
