Hi,

I've hitted my rubber on the edge of the table, now there is a little rip in the edge.

Does this rip effect my game much, i don't feel the different though.

Is this rip very bad for your game?

Hi Duy,

The rip won’t effect the performance of your bat.  The only problem is if you are playing in a big tournament they may not allow you to use the bat if the surface is damaged too much.

Since it is around the edges it will usually be passed but if it was in the middle the umpire may make you change bats.

Tone is in Your Fingers

There's is an old saying about guitar playing - tone is in your fingers. And If you've ever seen a really good guitarist play an old guitar then you'll understand how true that saying is. I know we go on a lot about this topic but it is so true. Once you've got yourself a decent bat, it's no longer up to the equipment, it's up to YOU!
