Hi Alois, hi Jeff,

i found a couple of Video in YouTube showing how to learn the reverse pendelum serve.

I wonder a bit because some players standing in front of the table, not sidewards.

Is the purpose of the sideward position to hit the ball at the golden triangle. Or what is the reason of the sideward position.

I find this both possibilities comfortably.

Many thanks for your help

Manfred

Hi Manfred,

I think standing side on to the table allows you to move the bat more freely forward towards the net.  When you are standing front on to the table the natural movement is to get the bat swinging to the side.

Backhand Tomahawk Serve

In this lesson we show you how to execute the Backhand Tomahawk serve. This is a good complement to the Tomahawk serve. By utilising a similar action, it will make it difficult for your opponent to tell which way the ball and spin are going.
