Returning sidespin

hello,

i always got a problem on hitting back a sidespinning ball.So,what should i do?I need your advice very much.Thank you.

Hi Martin,

The most important thing is to understand what the ball does when it hits your bat.  If the ball goes off to the left after it hits your bat, you need to angle your bat so it is facing to the right.  Do not try to hit across the line of the ball but just use your bat to steer the ball in the right direction.

This is a difficult part of table tennis, but keep trying to learn the effect of spin and you will start to get it.
