Returning short pimples serves

I want to know, how can i receive backspin-sidespin serve with the short pips in 1.5mm sponge bat?And how to improve my skill to play short pips?

Hi Mikhail,

The short pimples won't generate as much spin as with inverted rubber.  You may be able to flick the ball or hit through it a little more than you normally would.  As you have 1.5mm sponge you will have good control from the rubber.
