What is the best way to return no spin balls from a serve? What about no spin short serve balls? What are the common mistakes people make? What can be difficult about these no spin balls? Why would your opponent want to use this serve against you?

Hi Wayne,

A no spin serve can be effectve if you don't read the serve and think there may be spin on the ball.  If you see that it is no spin it should be relatively easy to attack.  Often players think that the serve has backspin and will push the ball back too high.

If the ball is short use the flick stroke.  If the ball is long, topspin the ball.
