Strokes
Hi coach, until now your advices help me a lot and i told to a lot of guys about this site and how good it is. Last night i was to a tt club to practice with my cousin and i play with another player and he has some forehands VERY FAST and STRONG and i wasn't able to return...i want to know how to counter those fast and strong forehands! thank you very much!
Hi Barbatel,
Thanks for the kind words.
To get these fast topspins back you need to develop the speed of watching the ball first. You can do this by doing some fast multi-ball. This will get your eyes and body used to seeing the ball coming at that speed.
Then focus on your technique of the Backhand Block.
One thing to also think about is to stop them from making such a fast shot by keeping the ball lower and deeper on the table.
