My friend often follows a shot in the deep region with a drop shot so i have to rush in and lob the ball. This gives him an opportunity to play a smash shot. How do i counter this?

Hi Ankesh,

It may be a matter of getting your movement more efficient.  Try to make the movement with a one step in forward.  If that is not enough, then use a side shuffling inwards.

When you get to the ball, focus on keeping the ball low. You don't need to do a lot with it just try to keep it low so that it is difficult for your opponent make a strong shot.
